An important part of our knowledge management system involves what we refer to as the EdgeScan. We have a full-time employee dedicated to monitoring the environment for trends and news that have the potential to affect our clients. We use Dow Jones interactive, Jupiter Research, Yankelovich Partners, media and PR databases, our ownership interest in Worldwide Partners (a global network of 90 independent marketing firms), and a lot of old-fashioned digging to make sure we know what's going to affect our clients' businesses.
